The Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan reported that the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) had announced its accession to the Group of Friends of Sustainable Transport.
UITP connects public transport stakeholders across modes and regions. Its participation broadens the Group’s dialogue on sustainable urban mobility, access and connectivity.
The Group’s informal and open-ended format brings together countries and organizations interested in international cooperation on sustainable transport.
